We're moving in to a digital world, so to help make it safe and enjoyable we have set up a class Wiki. This is a place for children and parents to visit and use for fun, learning and to keep in contact with the class as well as link in with other classes.
What makes it safe?
I'm glad you asked... This site will be updated and monitored so your children are encouraged to use the links to safe activities that are aimed at their age and ability.

Please explore the site too, it's not just for your children. It's a way for you to keep up with what they are doing in school. We all get busy and we're not all able to pop in and see it first hand. So, let's hope this is close enough!

Science Alive Visit.
Science Alive are visiting our class on August the 12th.
We need a few parents to help out please.
Our times are 9:00 - 10:40, 11:00 - 11:20
Please pop in if you are able to help us. Thanks!
Nit checks!
Please keep checking chinldren's hair for nits/lice and eggs. Just because children are clean one week, it doens't mean they don't have it! Make it a part of the hair washing routine each week and this way we can keep it out of the classroom. Thanks.
And for those of you who want further reason for why we are doing lots of talking in maths, here is a video to show you that we need to understand our maths and have strategies to solve problems rather than just the algorythms.
